The retail system uses its integrated accounts management facility which allows you to select individual customers by name and/or code and the system automatically allocates the correct discounts as appropriate. Full trolley count is also included so that you can control the exit by individual trolley if required. The system also supports a central cash office so that there is no need to have cash handling at the point of sale and ensures maximum security.
By using its own integrated accounting module Merlin® ensures that sales can be made to any type of customer, and trade customers can be served alongside standard cash-sale customers if required. Merlin® also allows for any number of pack sizes and price breaks to be created on the system so that you can sell in any quantity you require, allocating appropriate discounts to each unit of measure. Wines and spirits are also well catered for with the ability to have multiple bar-codes per product to control vintage.
