Among Bressinghams' leading portfolio of steam engines, you can find fairground rides, an arcade, beautiful scenic gardens, and a range of seasonal events running throughout the year.
As diverse as Bressinghams' tourist offerings were their needs of how to better serve them, and this created the need for a system to run both their cafe and restaurant, a membership scheme to reward repeat visitors, an admissions system and their gift shop.
By introducing a complete Merlin system, we were able to centralise the reporting of each of these key business areas, while drastically reducing man-hours spent processing orders manually. Front of house operations were improved by allowing their visitors to purchase tickets online, and revenues were even boosted by implementing a process to claim gift-aid on admissions, which reportedly also increased visitor spend on-site by as much as 24%.
